Duchy 35

About

With over 30 launched to date, the Duchy 35 has developed a strong reputation for quality workmanship, reliability and seaworthiness. Designed by renowned British naval architect Andrew Wolstenholme, the award-winning Duchy 35 borrows much from traditional Downeast features both above and below the waterline – sporting a stylish, well proportioned wheelhouse, tumblehome aft, keel protected props, a hard chine hull, generous freeboard and deep bow sections forward to safely handle the most challenging conditions with a softer ride than full planing hulls. All in all, a very stable platform.

The Duchy 35 is the perfect dual-purpose cruising yacht – able to accommodate large groups of family and friends for day trips with ease, and also serve as a luxurious cruising platform for a couple or small family.

Highlights include:

  • Side and stern cockpit doors for easy boarding and safe access to the side decks and bow with multiple handrails, bow rail and bulwark design.
  • Exceptionally long 10ft 6in cockpit with twin L settees, opening into a spacious expandable main saloon with folding doors that completely open to create a large, single-level entertainment space.
  • Panoramic main saloon with full-height windows all around, L settee with dining table, additional settee to starboard, and double helm and companion seats.
  • Rare full-height helm door for quick, easy access forward while docking and mooring.
  • Versatile main saloon seating converts settee to aft facing into cockpit, and companion seat to aft facing in dinette when desired.
  • Private cabin forward with queen berth and lots of storage, light and ventilation.
  • Fully equipped galley with refrigeration, stove and microwave.
  • Optional second guest cabin or shower stall with galley moved up to main saloon.
  • Exceptional joinery work above and below decks finished to a high standard with choice of hardwood.
