Frank grew up in Vermont, boating on Lake Champlain most weekends with his family. He began sailing out of Newport, RI, in the 1980’s and has owned numerous sail and power boats from 16’ to 40’. His love of the water led Frank to become a professional yacht captain in the late 1990’s. Frank holds both a USCG 200/500 Ton Masters license and an MCA Masters License. As a captain, Frank ran sailboats ranging from 60’ to 160’ as well as motor yachts from 100’ to 130’.
After 25 years as a professional mariner, Frank moved ashore and transitioned to being a yacht manager and broker. He also serves as an owner’s representative for new-build yachts. Frank has experience owning and running fiberglass, wood, steel, and aluminum power and sailing yachts. His intimate knowledge of boat systems and operations helps his clients sort through the many options and find the boat that is perfect for their needs and plans.
